Graduation Family Celebration
As a family, you have completed an incredible milestone. Join us as we honor the achievements of you and your family. The celebration will include a meal, program, and an official welcome to the Northwestern College Alumni Association.
Details:
• Location: Blue Room
• Cost: $12.00 per person (graduates are free but need to be included in your RSVP).
• Tickets: Go on sale April 1 (limit eight tickets per family [including the graduate]).
• Seating is limited (if tickets are still available, sales will close on May 9th).
• Make sure to indicate which ceremony you will be involved in (to be determined by early March) as this also determines which celebration you will be attending. See below:
Graduation Family Celebration #1 (for 1st ceremony graduates & families).
Time: 12:00 p.m. (doors will open at 11:30 a.m.)
Graduation Family Celebration #2 (for 2nd ceremony graduates & families).
Time: 4:00 p.m. (doors will open at 3:30 p.m.)

Caps and Gowns:
Beginning February 6, planned graduates order caps and gowns here. Caps and gowns must be ordered by no later than March 31. They will be distributed in the Blue Room at Grad Expo on Tuesday, May 6. Caps and gowns must be returned to room F2106 (traditional undergraduates) and to room F2128 (FOCUS and Master's degree students) in the Totino Fine Arts Center following the Commencement ceremony. You may keep your tassel.
Graduation Announcement Ordering:
Beginning February 6, planned graduates who desire to order graduation announcements may do so here.
Commencement Tickets:
Tickets are required for guests of participating graduates. The number of tickets provided is based on the total number of graduates planning to participate in Commencement. Tickets will be distributed to participating graduates at Grad Expo on Tuesday, May 6. Each participating graduate will receive 7 tickets. Overflow seating will be available in the Totino Fine Arts Center, room F2211 (no tickets required for overflow seating).
Professional Photographers:
Each graduate will be photographed as diploma covers are presented and at a posed location at the side of the stage. You will be given the opportunity to purchase pictures directly from Jolesch Photography for both the morning and afternoon ceremonies.
Diplomas:
Diplomas will be mailed beginning in June if you have:
a. fulfilled all degree requirements
b. paid your student account in full including the graduation fee charged to your account the last term you register (undergraduate: $30; graduate: $50).
(Note: Your diploma lists degree only. Your transcript lists degree, major(s), and any minor(s).)
Grad Expo:
Grad Expo will take place in the Nazareth Hall Blue Room on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, 11:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., for the Spring and Summer 2008 planned graduates. Grad Expo is an event that provides a "one-stop" opportunity for planned graduates to clear from campus. Students planning to graduate will receive an invitation prior to the event.
