Robin Helgen
Robin Helgen has studied voice with Rita Patané of Milan, Italy and Mary Kay Schmidt of Arizona. She is in her tenth season with the Minnesota Opera Chorus. She has also sung four seasons with the Oregon Bach Festival under international conductor Helmuth Riling. Mrs. Helgen has worked with the Minnesota Chorale, singing under conductors Robert Shaw, and Christopher Hogwood in performances with the Minnesota Orchestra and Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. She is currently the Alto I section leader at the House of Hope Presbyterian Church on Summit Ave. in St. Paul, MN performing sacred choral works such as Respighi "Laude to the Nativity", Mozart's "Requiem", Bach's cantana # 4 "Christ Lag in Todesbanden", and sections of the Frank Martin "Messe".
