B&TS Student Forums
B&TS student forums promote excellence in Christian scholarship by Northwestern students. Each forum features student presentations followed by a Q&A session moderated by one of our professors.
Everyone is welcome to attend these free events held once per semester; there will be Q&A after each presentation.

Undergraduate Theology Conference 2008
The 2008 Undergraduate Theology Conference was held at North Central University on Thursday, April 17, 2008. Sixteen students from Bethel University, Crown College, North Central University, and Northwestern College presented papers. Keynote speaker Dr. Ben Witherington ended the conference with a presentation on the Christology of Jesus (how Jesus viewed himself).
The 2009 conference will be held at Crown College in April.

Undergraduate Student Paper Contest
Every spring our students are invited to submit papers for the undergraduate student paper contest at the Midwest Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) regional conference.
This year Kris Ferrario and Luke Preussler submitted papers.
In 2004-05 two Northwestern seniors, Jordan Scott and Marshall Wall, were invited to present their papers at the conference. Jordan Scott won the undergraduate student paper contest! He received a cash award and a book for his paper, "A Message of Hope for Aliens: A Hermeneutical Analysis of Isaiah 40:6-8 and 1 Peter 1:24-25."
