ADA/Disability Services
. . . God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.
1 Corinthians 12:18
At Northwestern College, students with special needs are students first. The Disabilities Office of Support Services (DOSS) handles Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and Section 504 needs, and other special needs for students across campus, and encourages them to take part in all aspects of college life. Living in the residence halls, attending school functions, and excelling academically are part of this experience.
Qualified students with documented disabilities associated with ADA/504 (e.g. special needs) may receive services, if appropriate, in a variety of areas. Students who are currently attending or will be enrolling at NWC and want to receive "reasonable accommodations" based on appropriate and current documentation are required to contact the Center of Academic Programs for Support Services. Interested students may begin the process by filling out the initial documentation.
