EAGLE FOOTBALL MISSION STATEMENT

Our Purpose:
TOTAL RELEASE FOOTBALL – As a Christian college football program, we desire for each individual member to make the most of the blessings that God has given them in the process of individual and team development. (Galations 6:4; Ephesians 1:3, Colossians 3:23, 1 Corinthians 10:31)

Our Foundation:
Jesus Christ, who is:
. Faith – Belief in things not yet seen, Hebrews 11:1
. Hope – Hope does not disappoint us, Romans 5:5
. Love – Love never fails, 1 Corinthians 13:8
. Truth – The Truth will set you free, John 8:32
. Humble – The Lord will lift you up, James 4:10

How we compete:
. According to His Word!
. By His Power!
. For His Honor!
. In His Presence!

We desire for each man to:
. Know that God has set eternity in the hearts of men, Ecclesiastes 3:11
. Have a vision from the Lord and be faithful to the vision, Acts 26:19
. Know there will be resistance to this vision, 2 Corinthians 10:4; James 4:7
. Wear the full armor of God as a Soldier of Christ, Ephesians 6:11

We are a family:
As a football family, we are called to be united in love, encouraged in heart and take joy in adversity. We want to grow together, pray together and become one together, ultimately impacting our community together. (Colossians 2:2, Philippians 4:4)

The game itself:
As coaches we desire our men to be passionate about the game and to have a vision of what it means, in their specific position, to be the best that they can be. In a collective effort, with an emphasis on fundamentals at all positions, the game is all about the ball…our mission is to control the ball and protect it or to get it back when we don’t possess it.
