ST. PAUL, Minn. (Nov. 29, 2007) – Indiana Wesleyan continued their hot streak at the National Christian College Athletic Association’s (NCCAA) National Volleyball Tournament, sweeping Bryan College (Tenn.) in three games (30-20, 30-20, 30-21).

It was Jill McMillan’s turn to pace the top-seeded Wildcats, who were successful on 30.7 of their attacks. McMillan paced Indiana Wesleyan (IWU) with 11 kills and a whopping .635 attacking percentage, while Shannon Millen added 10 kills and a .368 attacking rate.

The high powered IWU squad forced Bryan into hitting -.049 in the evening affair while holding a 40-24 advantage in team kills. The Wildcats were equally impressive on defense, tallying nine kills in the quick three-game match. Bryan was only able to counter with three blocks.

Alison Young had eight kills to lead the Lions from Bryan, who were seeded fifth entering the tournament.

Both teams will return to the court on Friday for another pool play match. Indiana Wesleyan will face #8 Northwestern College at 12 Noon, while Bryan will play #4 Southwestern Assemblies of God University at 2:30 p.m.
