Intercultural Students

Students from all over the U.S and the world, welcome! Northwestern’s intercultural students represent 26 different countries and cultures—about 10 percent of the student body.

Northwestern's Office of Intercultural Unity supports and encourages all students, especially those from under-represented cultures. They also provide Intercultural Orientation for two days prior to the General Orientation for all students every fall as a way to encourage the building of relationships with and among students.

International Students

We value every person on campus, and those from non-majority ethnicities and cultures are treasured for the unique perspectives they bring to the student body.

Have questions? Wondering how to apply for admission? Check out some International Student FAQs.
