February 4, 2008 - Envision Excellence Completes Northwestern Fund Goal for the Campaign
With recent gifts raising the four-year total for the Northwestern Fund to just over $4 million, we are excited to announce that the Envision Excellence campaign completed one of its three key components. The Northwestern Fund is allocated directly to the general operating budget, helping to reduce tuition. Last year, each student's tuition was reduced by $775 due to the amount raised for the Northwestern Fund.

The remaining two components of Envision Excellence include the Community Life Commons building and a substantial increase in the general college endowment. The primary goal of the campaign in 2008 is to fulfill the goal set for the new Community Life Commons with an estimated building cost of $17 million. The building will serve as the hub for students, faculty, staff, alumni and guests to come together as one community. Facilities for dining, study, student organizations, prayer, and fellowship will all be included. We ask that you continue to pray for the campaign, and specifically for gifts designated to the Community Life Commons building, as it is a key piece in the completion of the long-range strategic plan.
