Undergrad: Teaching English as a Second Language

Favorite Musician: Johnny Cash and Jars of Clay

What are you passionate about: True friendship, understanding and appreciating different strengths in people, traveling to different countries, learning, all four seasons of the year, family, my husband, knowing that God always understands 100% of what I’m going through.

What do you enjoy about NW students: Their desire to know God, and their uncanny ability to produce amazing dishes and meals from their very own kitchens! (This is one thing that NOT all college students are blessed with!)

What's the best thing about your job: I get to hang out with college students who are serious about leadership and want to do God’s will for their lives. I get to be a part of that and see what that looks like on a day to day basis. I love it!

Favorite memory from your college days: All the amazing friends that I made who I’m sure I’ll be friends with for the rest of my life! Also, being able to study abroad for a semester in Uganda.

What's your vision for Northwestern: To be a place where people can grow in every facet of their lives by being honest about their struggles and questions. Also to know God more and more on different levels and in and through new environments, not only in chapel, Bible study, or church services, but through relationships with different people.

What do you love about residence life: I love that it is all relational. I also love watching students who are able to reap some of the amazing benefits of living in a residence hall and doing life with other people, even though it is sometimes difficult! They are able to make some of those lifelong significant friendships with people who speak truth into their lives and will stick with them through struggles.
