Greek Break-out Chapels
In the area of biblical studies--studying the Bible--one needs to understand the original languages in which the Bible was written.
But when students learn these languages, do they really get to use them? How?
A series of Greek break-out chapels were introduced in 2008-09 as a practical way for students to use their Greek language skills outside of the classroom.
Every other week B&TS professors spent 30 minutes in a break-out chapel with students to read the Greek text of 1 John out loud. After reading the text in its original language, they discussed the passages together.
Are you interested in studying the Bible in its original languages? Northwestern College offers every student the opportunity to learn Greek and Hebrew, regardless of major!
Keep your eyes open for announcements on campus about the next language break-out chapel series.
