Organized colloquium “Qumran and Apocalyptic: The ‘End of Days’ in Ancient Judaism and the Dead Sea Scrolls,” held 18 November 1988 in Chicago, sponsored by the Oriental Institute. The papers of this colloquium appeared in 1990 in a special fascicle of the Journal of Near Eastern Studies, which I edited for content.
