What is Vocation and Calling?
Vocation and Calling are often used interchangeably to speak of a person's unique mission in the world - the particular ways God has designed you to live out your life and partner with God in his work in the world.

Does Everyone Have a Vocation?
Yes. Besides being called to be a Christian and to fulfill the responsibilities of your immediate context, God also calls each of us to a specific vocation, – a defining purpose or mission, a reason for being.

Is a Vocation the same as a Career?
No. For many, their vocation is expressed in a work setting. However, for others, their fundamental calling is fulfilled outside of employment or alongside of it in a complementary role.

How do I discover my Vocation?
Discovering your vocation unfolds over time, so there is no need to try to figure it all out right now. College is a time to learn about yourself and to explore various avenues of work and service. Through these experiences you will grow closer to clarifying your unique vocation.
