Cohort learning

As a pioneer in Twin Cities adult degree programs, Northwestern’s FOCUS Degree Completion programs have always incorporated a cohort learning model. This means that you will be attending classes on the St. Paul campus—or other satellite locations—with the same group of peers throughout your program. A cohort is admitted together in the program, classes are taken together and camaraderie is built over a period of semesters.
