Nov. 12—The Web Marketing Association (WMA) recently awarded WSI, web marketing services provider, the 2010 WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development for www.nwc.edu. Northwestern College partnered with WSI in early 2009 to develop a a redesigned website, including a new content management system, and launched the new nwc.edu in spring 2010.

Mark Brecheisen, WSI consultant from Minnesota, was recognized with the Education Standard of Excellence for his work on www.nwc.edu.

WSI received a total of six Standard of Excellence recognitions inside the 2010 WebAwards organized through the WMA, demonstrating the tremendous development and design work produced for it’s various organizations and firms.

The Web Marketing Association (WMA)was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and development of the best websites on the World Wide Web. The WMA is the producer of the WebAward Competition. Now in its 14th year, the WebAwards is the premier annual website award competition that names the best Web sites in 96 industries while setting the standard of excellence for all website development.
