I am a Twin Cities native, and attended the University of Minnesota for my all my higher education. I served as an intelligence officer in the United States Army for eight years, serving in both Washington, D.C. and Germany. I also have excavation experience in Egypt, including the excavation of a royal tomb in the Valley of the Kings.

Advice I give to college students:
Take courses and major in what you like—worry about jobs later. Also, after taking a lecture course, save your notes! You never know when they will come in handy!
